The Department of Pharmacology is an Important and Integral part of the institution. pharmacology is the science which deals with study of drugs. Study the mechanism and site of action of drugs, discovery of new drugs or to study the actions of existing drugs.

Pharmacology Lab

The department has well equipped Pharmacology laboratory, Anatomy, Physiology & Education Laboratory with Sophisticated Instruments for conducting regular practicals and Preclinical Research projects.

Experimental use

Psychopharmacological studies, study of analgesics and anticonvulsants, bioassay of various hormones, such as insulin, oxytocin, vasopressin, Study of estrus cycle, mating behavior and lactation.

Utility

The laboratory have expertise and has available equipment to measure drugs, drug metabolites, toxicants and some endogenous compounds in a range of biological. Also, to perform validation tests for all assay and perform quality assurance determinations for all studies. .
